We believe in a better beef, and we're proud to raise our grass-fed wagyu cattle without antibiotics or hormones.

Hand-picked Purebred Wagyu
Here in Lockhart, we take pride in raising Wagyu the honest way. Our purebred black Wagyu herd comes from Phelan Farms right here in town — folks who know a thing or two about good cattle and good land.
Our Wagyu roam wide open pastures, grazing on Texas grass. No hormones, no steroids, no funny business — just clean living under the Texas sky. We treat ‘em like family and keep learning new ways to keep ‘em healthy and happy.
The result? Beef so tender and flavorful, you’ll taste all that Texas care in every bite.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What do your cows eat?
Our cattle spends their days out in the pasture, munchin’ on Texas grass like nature intended. Later on, we finish ‘em on a good mix of grains — barley, oats, corn — to keep ‘em healthy, happy, and downright tasty. It’s all part of raising beef that’s tender as a Texas sunset.
What Wagyu do you raise?
Out here in Lockhart, we’re proud to be raisin’ a new generation of purebred black Wagyu on our humane ranch, where the cattle live easy and grow up right.
Do you ship to me?
While our Wagyu stays local for now, our apparel’s ready to hit the road nationwide. No matter where you hang your hat, you can shop our gear RIGHT HERE
How are the Cuts Packaged & Shipped?
We pack our cuts frozen, each one sealed tight in its own vacuum pack and tucked into a thermal-insulated box. Depending on how big your order is and how far it’s goin’, we’ll use dry ice or gel packs to keep everything nice and cold. When your box arrives, your beef might be frozen solid, a bit thawed, or fully thawed but still good and cold — all safe and ready for your kitchen.
How do I handle my Wagyu once it arrives?
When your Phelan Farms Wagyu arrives, pop it straight into the freezer below 32°F to keep it safe and tasty.
Ready to cook? Thaw it in the fridge — not on the counter — or use cold water if you’re in a hurry (just change the water every 30 minutes).
Once thawed, cook it within 24 hours, and don’t refreeze to keep the quality top-notch.
