Smoky Chipotle Wagyu Burger Patties

Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Total Time: 30 Minutes

Yield: 4 Servings

Intro

We love a good classic burger ‘round here- but every now and then, we like to kick things up a notch. These Smoky Chipotle Wagyu Burger Patties pack a little spice, a little smoke, and a whole lotta flavor thanks to Phelan Farms wagyu ground beef. No fluff, no filler- just bold Texas wagyu beef with a fiery personality.

Directions

  • In a large bowl, mix the wagyu ground beef with chipotle, adobo sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce (if using), and a good pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Gently form into 4 burger patties—try not to overwork the beef. You want ‘em tender, not tough.
  • Preheat your grill or cast iron skillet to medium-high. Add oil if using a skillet.
  • Cook patties 4–5 minutes per side, or until they reach your preferred doneness (medium-rare hits around 130–135°F).
  • Top with cheese in the last minute of cooking and cover briefly to melt.
  • Toast your buns and get creative with toppings. These patties go great with spicy mayo, grilled onions, or even avocado if you’re feelin’ fancy.
  • Serve hot with chips, coleslaw, or a cold beer and a big ol’ grin.
  • Serves: 4
  • Perfect for: Summer BBQs, spice lovers, and folks who like their burgers with a little heat and a lot of heart
