Texas-Style Wagyu Flank Steak Tacos

These ain’t your average tacos, hombre. This is Texas-style, with tender Wagyu Flank Steak from Phelan Farms, seared hot and sliced thin. Toss ‘em in a warm tortilla, add your toppings, and you’ve got a little bite of the Lone Star State in every mouthful.

Directions

  • Combine lime juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Rub onto the Wagyu flank steak and let it marinate for 30 minutes (or longer if you’ve got the time).
  • Heat your grill to medium-high. Grill the Wagyu Flank steak 4–5 minutes per side, depending on thickness.
  • Let it rest a few minutes (don’t skip this), then slice across the grain.
  • Warm up your tortillas and get to buildin’—meat first, then toppings.
  • Serve with a squeeze of lime and a cold beverage.

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • 12 small flour or corn tortillas
