Wagyu Sirloin Salad with Balsamic Drizzle, Mandarin Oranges & Avocado

Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Total Time: 25 Minutes

Yield: 2 Servings

Intro

Sometimes you want steak, but you want it fresh and bright, too. This salad combines tender Phelan Farms Wagyu Sirloin sliced over a bed of peppery arugula, juicy mandarin oranges, creamy avocado, and sweet red onions- all brought together with a simple balsamic drizzle. It’s like a Texas summer on a plate: honest, vibrant, and satisfying.

Directions

  • Season wagyu sirloin steak with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust time for desired doneness). Let rest 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey (if using), salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
  • On two plates, arrange arugula, red onion slices, mandarin oranges, and avocado. Top with sliced sirloin.
  • Drizzle dressing over the salad just before serving.
  • Serves: 2
  • Perfect for: Light lunches, refreshing dinners, or anytime you want steak without the fuss but all the flavor.
